Design of a digital virtual tour application for people with disabilities at the Archaeological Museum of Delphi

 

Apt Information Systems created a virtual tour application for the Archaeological Museum of Delphi intended for mobility and hearing-impaired visitors, in the context of Greece’s National Action Plan for the Rights of People with Disabilities.
The Project includes the design of a webpage and an application for mobile devices including tablets through which visitors can embark on a virtual tour of the permanent exhibition of the Archaeological Museum of Delphi and study the abundance of information provided on the exhibits (monuments, labels) in a virtual tour environment. In the webpage and the application, the assembled material for the 3D virtual tour (360 degree panoramas, 3D objects, photographs, texts, videos) is presented to the public in an accessible manner. Moreover, short videos in Greek and English sign language were produced.
The application for mobile devices and tablets runs on iOS and Android devices and can be downloaded for free from App Store and Play Store respectively. In addition, QR codes at the entrance of each Room of the Archaeological Museum of Delphi enable access to the application.

Providing services for the upgrade of the mobile Application of the Manpower Employment Organization (OAED)

APT Information Systems has signed a contract with the Manpower Employment Organisation (OAED)  to upgrade the OAED mobile Application, in order to integrate the ESCO code and evaluate the offered applications to the citizens. APT Information Systems will undertake the implementation of the workflows that will be required for the exchange of data with the Integrated Information System (OPS) for the evaluation of the offered applications statuses. to the citizens and update of the aforementioned applications statuses.

Providing services for the development of software applications of the “Retirement and Service Information System” (PSEES) and the “Service and Personal Status Card” (e-DAYK), for the needs of the General Secretariat of Information Systems for Public Administration (GSIS)

APT Information Systems has signed a contract with the General Secretariat of Information Systems for Public Administration (GSIS) to provide software development services for the “Retirement and Service Information System” (PSEES) and the “Service and Personal Status Card” (e-DAYK) application. The project scope comprises of the software development of the PSEES system, the Protocol System as well as the Portal and the application of e-DAYK. Additionally, a study will be conducted on how to implement software changes, due to a potential upgrade or migration. Moreover, the PSEES system will be upgraded to a newer version of the system software and we will also support the resolution of potential errors due to the migration.

“Providing services for the development of the software applications of the asset and fund source declaration information system”, of the National Transparency Agency

APT Information Systems has signed a contract with the National Transparency Authority to provide software development services of the information system “Pothen Esches” (asset and funds source declaration) application. The total budget of the project amounts to 72,633 euros.

The project scope comprises the improvement services of the application procedures, as well as the addition of new features, which derive from either legislative changes or from new requirements from the oversight bodies.

Every year more than one hundred fifty thousand people that are liable to file an annual declaration of assets and financial interests throughout Greece use the application “Pothen Esches” (asset and funds source declaration). These annual statements are examined by oversight bodies -responsible for the verification of asset and funds source declaration- by cross-referencing data from third-party sources. The electronic application interoperates with third-party applications for data exchange, while also providing statistical analysis of the reported data to the monitoring mechanisms.

“Storage System, Tape Library and other Information equipment supply”, of the Technical Chamber of Greece

Apt Information Systems successfully completed the “Supply Storage System, Tape Library and other information equipment” project, with the total budget amounting to 136.200 euros. The subject of the contract, signed with the Technical Chamber of Greece (TCG), comprised the supply and implementation of a new data storage system and backup security equipment, in order to extend TCG’s current infrastructure. The new equipment, which replaced the old one, increased the available space of computer systems and optimized backup security.

“Users support & system improvements of e-PDE information system”, of the Management Organization Unit (MOU) S.A.

APT Information Systems S.A. was awarded with the project “Users support & system improvements of e-PDE information system”, by the Management Organization Unit (MOU) S.A, a particularly important project, in which analysis, design and implementation services will be provided. Additionally, new functionalities, adaptation of individual applications to new regulations and provisions as well as interoperability extension of e-PDE with 3rd party information systems, will be provided as part of the project.

Ferries Del Caribe launches BTS for reservations & tickets management

Ferries Del Caribe (FDC) selected APT’s BTS (Booking & Ticketing System) as its Reservation and Ticketing Management system. Ferries del Caribe operates between the ports of San Juan (Puerto Rico) and Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic). BTS is in operation since October 2020, managing reservations and ticketing for passengers, vehicles, trucks and containers for FDC. BTS has been appropriately customized in order to cover the requirements of FDC, including local needs, multi-currency, multiple types of payment, management of on-board events and services and combination of ferry tickets with hotel accommodation, land transportation and excursions. The management of the local and international travel agencies network of FDC resides on the B2B platform of BTS. Although COVID measures restrict passenger traffic to the least necessary, BTS manages effectively the supply chain between the two ports connected, covering the transportation of trucks and containers.

BTS is a product that continuously adjust to the needs of the maritime sector since 2000, offering the most comprehensive solution for a ferry operator, covering all types of transportation, domestic and international routes, the B2B network, the management of the B2C channel (over the web and mobile), interfaced with any distribution channel. BTS has been enhanced with on-board services, as well as shore services offering a complete solution for connecting ferry transportation with accommodation, transfers and activities.
